In Camp Fire Solina HiFi picked up and processed ambient sound from the Grand Union gallery space at building-rattling levels. Simultaneously video monitors showed the sound mathematically transposed into colour.
As well as a conventional recording, a contact mic attached to the gallery windows recorded the architecture’s vibrations.
