Taking its cues from Rave culture and the culture surrounding music in the ’90s Mobile Mixtape is an hour long mix by Essen stored on a mobile phone.

Presented at MK Gallery, Milton Keynes as part of ‘Temporary Sites (A Proposal)’, alongside works by Joanne Masding, Luke McCreadie and Tim Ivison & Julia Tcharfas. This audio could be thought about in relation to appropriation, interface, mixtape, music and rave.
