Jack Strange — Flat Reverie
File under — performance

With two closed eyed performers sat next to each other with flat screen monitors in hand, Jack Strange’s work Flat Reverie evokes a dreamlike scenario of memory and loss through a disjunctive conversation and a mixture of both appropriated and captured video.

As part of a series of events at MK Gallery, Milton Keynes, ‘Symposium’ brought together work by artists Dave Charlesworth, Jack Brindley & Tim Dixon, Luke McCreadie, Tristam Vivian Adams and Zac Gvi. This performance can be considered in relation to the following: conversation, documentation, lecture / talk and narration.
