Situated in between two rooms Rhythm Series, Work No.2 shows the interaction between two analogue projectors and a human form. Adapting herself to the beams from the projector the dancer performs almost like a prosthetic, contorting to suit an interface between herself and the projector.
This performance was shown at ICA, London as part of ‘Long Live The New Flesh’. Including work by Benedict Drew, Head Gallery, John Gerrard, Nicolas Provost, Plastique Fantastique and Sidsel Christensen. Related themes: architecture, dance, interface, physical space and projection.
