Dori Deng and Metka Drcar — Rhythm Series, Work No.2
File under — performance

Situated in between two rooms Rhythm Series, Work No.2 shows the interaction between two analogue projectors and a human form. Adapting herself to the beams from the projector the dancer performs almost like a prosthetic, contorting to suit an interface between herself and the projector.

As part of a series of events at ICA, London, ‘Long Live The New Flesh’ brought together work by artists Benedict Drew, Head Gallery, John Gerrard, Nicolas Provost, Plastique Fantastique and Sidsel Christensen. This performance can be considered in relation to the following: architecture, dance, interface, physical space and projection.
